Queen Kedra makes room for

Two Furrific Felines from HSCC find
Harmony!
Its been 5 months since we adopted our
big baby "Dakota" (right) from HSCC. It was not our first adoption though,
our family had also adopted our beautiful girl "Kedra" (left) from HSCC almost
7 years ago. We have kept them with their original HSCC names.
When we first brought Dakota home, may
we say it was not love at first sight but now the two are inseparable. Where
one is you will find the other. Dakota has become so comfortable here in his
new home that he has taken over Kedra's favorite spots, whether its sleeping
at the top of the towels or curled up in the chair, Dakota is there....and
when he's not she is. Although Dakota out weighs Kedra by about
8 lbs she show him who the boss is in this house. They playfully wrestle over
who gets to sleep at the end of the bed each night and the loser gets the
window sill. Either way they both win. We love both our kitties very much
from their precious purrs to their little meows and coos. It has
taken Dakota a few months to find his voice-but he is becoming more vocal on a
daily basis and even more cuddly. He was very shy at first, but with all the
love and attention he receives he is coming around with leaps and bounds. Kedra
on the other hand will talk your ear off and greets everyone at the door as
they walk in and, being the Queen that she is, you had better acknowledge her.
We can never thank your facility
enough for allowing us to adopt these two precious purr bodies. If my
daughter had her way we would be adopting a lot more. These two are just
enough for us.
